You can do this in Task Manager: Right-click your taskbar, then click Task Manager. Under the Details tab, right-click the Black Ops 4 process and Set priority to High. If prompted for permission, click Change priority. Check if your game is running smoother now. If not, move on to the next solution.
I know bops 3 has done that to me before. Everything's at max volume. I looked through some threads. Some were saying validate files. Others (if you were using mod tools) said something about editing files to fix it. Another (mod tool one) said to uninstall the game and your tools then reinstall them again.
Go to Settings>Audio. On the right side, under Global Audio Devices. Set the Desktop Audio to the default or select a device from which you hear the computer audio. If you have computer audio coming from multiple output devices, you can also set the Device Audio 2 to record the computer audio from these devices. I have disabled and reenabled the headset, disabled my speakers, changed audio preferences for the game in Windows settings, etc. Nothing has worked.
Try this: Open battle.net launcher, select COD BOCW, options, game settings, voice chat, then change your output device to whatever speaker your using. You may have to press "R" to reset your chat device in game as well. BleachedQj • 3 yr. ago.
