Bots don't cheat,camp or spam as much as many players do. They allow for a very balanced game so most rounds wont be very 1 sided. While they wont come to BF4 (even if they did the old gen consoles would probably hold them back and the game is 1,1/2 years old anyways) they could be an excellent addition to future Battlefield titles and appeal
