Suzanne Collins finally answered our prayers with The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes prequel novel in 2020 and now the film adaptation is here and it brilliantly builds on Hunger Games lore. Is The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes a one off though?
I'd love a fifth book, but I think there are still plenty of loose ends that need tying up after TBOSAS, although a TBOSAS sequel would be a terrible idea, as by the end of TBOSAS Snow has fully turned into a villain, so Suzanne would have to write the book from a villain's point of view - interesting, but I dont know how well it would work.
